Jeezum (as my sister-in-law would say)! How the time gets away from me this time of year…I’ve sadly neglected my blog this past week, and I’m overdue to post this week’s prompt. Please accept my abject apologies, dear readers…and now that we’ve gotten that claptrap out of the way, let’s write something!

Narrate a story about a person or a family member, a story that’s been passed down or ritualized; a story about yourself. Embellish, if so desired, or contrast the story with what you know to be the “true” account.
